Hello everyone,
I am thrilled to finally share with you my latest release, A Work of Progress, released June 19th, 2024. This album represents a significant milestone in my musical journey, a culmination of nearly a decade of creativity and experimentation. It’s a mega compilation of all my unreleased tracks that I believe are truly worthy of seeing the light of day.
My musical journey began in late middle school when I first picked up an instrument. Those early days were filled with discovery and excitement as I explored the world of sound. By late high school, around 2004/2005, I had started recording and composing my own music. This period marked the beginning of my deep dive into creating and refining my own unique sound.
In 2009, I released my first album, followed by another in 2010 and a third in 2014. Along the way, I also released two singles, one in 2014 and another in 2015. Each release was a stepping stone, reflecting my growth and evolution as both an artist and a person.
During this time, I dedicated countless hours to crafting pieces that captured the essence of my experiences and experiments. For various reasons, many of these compositions never made the cut for my earlier albums. Yet, they held a special place in my heart and in the narrative of my artistic journey. Now, with A Work of Progress, I am excited to finally share these unreleased tracks with you.
A Work of Progress, along with my other releases during this time, is a personal archive of my growth as both an artist and a person. This period of my life was marked by significant personal milestones and challenges, all of which have influenced my music. The journey through these years is reflected in the evolution of my sound and the depth of my compositions. It’s an instrumental journey through the realms of electro-orchestral music, blending electronic beats and textures with the grandeur and depth of orchestral arrangements. This fusion creates a unique soundscape that I hope will resonate with you as much as it does with me.
This compilation serves two main purposes. Firstly, it brings to a close my older music creations. These tracks are a reflection of where I’ve been and the musical paths I’ve explored. By releasing them, I’m acknowledging their importance in my development and giving them the recognition they deserve.
Secondly, I wanted an easy way to listen to and share the songs I’ve created over these years. Having them all in one place not only makes it convenient for me but also allows you, my listeners, to experience the progression and diversity of my work during this period.
I’ve poured my heart and soul into these tracks, and each one holds a special place in my heart. From the intricate melodies to the dynamic harmonies, every piece tells a part of my story. This album is a testament to my passion for music and life.
These years were transformative not only for my music but also for me as an individual. Every note and every rhythm reflect my personal experiences, my growth, and my evolution. This period saw many changes and challenges, and music was my constant companion and outlet. The tracks in A Work of Progress are imbued with the emotions, insights, and growth that came from these pivotal years.
