Lucid Dreams

Lucid Dreams is a cinematic electro-orchestral album released in 2014 by Gary Johnson. Blending piano, orchestral strings, choir, horns, and electronic instruments, the album creates emotional, film-score-style soundscapes that range from peaceful piano pieces to dramatic orchestral buildups. Many of the tracks were written after Gary returned from a deployment to Afghanistan in 2012, giving the music a reflective, dreamlike quality shaped by themes of memory, processing experience, and emotional contrast.
